For Firefox browser users there is a 1.06 critical update now available.
My website has lots of info and photos from various Greek and Canary Islands esp. about walking. My profile has the site address cos not allowed to put it here.

You should have it then.
check by going to "Help" and then "about Firefox" - the display box will show the version you have.
Firefox anyway checks regularly for updates automatically. My website has lots of info and photos from various Greek and Canary Islands esp. about walking. My profile has the site address cos not allowed to put it here.0 -
thought i'd already updated but firefox says i am running 1.05. I checked for updates but it says there aren't any?0

If there are no updates it might be easier to uninstall your version and reinstall 1.0.6;the download is available at http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/0

if i do this is there a way for me to back upmy bookmarks?0

It was a few versions ago when I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox but all bookmarks and firefox themes/extentions remained intact but I cannot guarantee it. In the top right hand corner of the firefox page do you have a blue circle with an arrow icon this denotes if updates are available.if so click on the icon.0

if you go to that mentioned site then you can get the update from there. you will then also not have any issue with your bookmarks (although like many things software it is always good idea to have them stuffed away somewhere safe anyway)My website has lots of info and photos from various Greek and Canary Islands esp. about walking. You can also click on the icon on the upper right corner in firefox (the one that animates when a page is loading)."...And I gave that man directions, even though I didn't know the way, 'cause that's the kind of guy I am this week." -- Homer Simpson0 -
Huzzah! the cat holding the ball of wool in the corner of my page has led me to update successfully.
