Managed to get a card for my mum and another half price anniversary card for hubby. Here's hoping they arrive o.k. Site is quite long winded- had to persevere:T
Are those shopping bags you're carrying really bags of debt???
  • I've just ordered one - no problems uploading. Fantastic idea and much better than the junk you pay through the nose for in shops!
  • Just ordered mine, maybe best at this time of the evening. A great find and really good as I hate card shops with their rubbish music and spotty staff!! :p
  • just done mine thanks. i got my valentines day card from these and it was fab. i would pay full price for it thanks again.

I used the Valetines offer to do a birthday card and it was dreadful. The envelope was grey, and way bigger than the card. The card it self was not folded correctly, and the text did not appear exactly as it did in the approval picture, it was shifted onto the image by about 5mm, but enough to make it look worse than a poor homemade job. I would never pay for the service in full.

This service is handy if you are abroad, but it's an absolute nightmare if you live within 5 miles of a newsagents in the UK!

Actually; I do admire the work they have done on this website. It could have been a lot worse. But to be honest... It's actually a lot quicker, more personal and a lot cheaper to set your alarm, get into your 4 X 4, pay to park, browse WH Smiths and then toddle off down to the post office yourself...

Probably actually means a lot more to the recipient, too.

Nice try, techno-!!!!!!, but no way this is ever gonna replace posting a card!

By the way - the coupon is good for one card only, but some slight of hand on the website might trick you into thinking that it you are getting the same deal for each card.

I disagee with much you've said here, I thought it was fantastic I could personalise a card with a photo a my own verse for my mom, I'm sure she will think lot more of that than the least creased card on a rack of many from WH Smiths.

I didn't have to fight my way round the shockingly cramped card shops with a pushchair and a whinging toddler then queue in the post office for an hour and a half while pensioners withdraw their money through chip and pin without realisng they can use the cash point outside.

And I also found it pretty clear that the offer is for one card only, espcially when I put the code in and a little pop up appeared highlighting the fact.

So you can stick with your 4x4 and shopping trips if thats what you prefer but I know where I will be heading in the future!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Excellent! Thanks for that, just got my Mum's card all sorted. :)
