Anyone been to Wroclaw, Poland?

Hi all,

Me & hubby are going to Wroclaw in Poland for a long weekend soon & we are booked into the Art Hotel which looks fairly central. I wondered if anyone has been & recommend places to visit, eat or drink etc? Thanks :beer:

I was in Wroclaw in Poland a couple of years ago. The town is quite small and there is not a great deal of sight seeing to be done - so with a long weekend you will have a relaxing time. We were there for a few days and found the place really nice. It's a lot quieter than Krakow and not nearly as busy with tourists.

The find of the holiday was a travel guide called in your pocket. We used these in Krakow and Wroclaw. They cover sites, bars, restaurants, culture, and basic language. We found the restaurant and bar reviews spot on and visited a lot of places that were recommended as a result I think they are updated 4 times a year – so your not spending time looking for bars that shut down years ago. We found the information spot on. They were available in our hotel for free and I would recommend getting your hands on one.
