Reclaiming import duty and VAT on returned goods

I'm importing my wedding dress from America. The company have kindly agreed to send me a few different styles so that I can try them on and decide which one to keep. I am aware that I will have to pay import duty and VAT when they come into the country- is there any way of reclaiming the taxes for those dresses that I return?
Thanks

If you reject and return goods to sender after paying duty and import VAT you may ask for a refund. You should make your claim in writing to HM Revenue and Customs at the address shown on the charge label, within three months of the acceptance of the declaration, enclosing:- the original charge label
- the senders declaration (CN22 or CN23) and outer wrapper showing your address
- a certificate of posting stamped by Royal Mail confirming the goods have been returned to sender.
