Tesco Bleach Be Careful !

Please be careful if you have ordered bleach/buying bleach from Tesco as last Friday I got it all over me when unpacking my shopping after it had been delivered - the top on one of the bottles wasn't tight enough (child proof tops I know !!) the bleach had spilt over everything in the bag leaving a puddle of it - my top and shorts are ruined - lovely orange strips down black - great ! - I e mailed Tesco that evening - 3 days laters still no reply just an automatic acknowldgement mail of receiving my email - I mailed them again and again finally got a mail 4 days after from a guy who said the Manager Of the store will be contacting me shortly about this incident - well it's a week ago this happened and I haven't heard a word - I have done my shopping on line with Asda this week !!

This is serious. Bleach everywhere, including on your skin, is a whole lot worse than milk, for instance. I'm sure you could get them into a lot of trouble if you wanted to, so they ought to be really grovelling to you.

We had thsi problem with Safeway many years ago. We made acomplaint with the manager who in turn contacted head office. They then sent a chap around to see our carpet which had a white patch on it due to bleach leaking from a shopping bag. They paid about 75% of a replacement carpet I think they based there value on the fact that the carpet was a few years old. We thought we would have to tread carefully as my wife works for them at the time.I were happy with the outcome at the time.

i had this problem with Ace bleach when they put the dosing balls on as lids.. its spilt out all over my shopping and car ..wrote to them and after a few Questions to and frowing they sent me a cheque for the total cost of my shopping and to clean my car and £20 for the inconvienence..

dont let this lie send a follow up email and if nothing send a letter to the manager of the store..
