HI
I am having a problem, i hope somebody can help me. I have a Welltech IAD 162 router/VOIP gateway and i am trying to configure it so i can use voip using a standard cordless phone(BT synergy 2110).
I have the router connected to the ISP in the normal fashion(wan and lan), then i have a PSTN and a TEL connection on the back, i have connected the phone to the router via a standard RJ11 to RJ11 cable to the TEL socket.
I am trying to configure it so i can dial out using 1899.com and recieve using SIPgate, however i really can't for teh life of me get the router and phone to work together, i have entered the settings from 1899.com into teh SIP settings on teh router configuration page, entered via using web browser and IP address, also tried the installation wizard downloaded form welltech site but no luck and i dont really understand Telnet.
The fields are as follows, Run Mode: P2P or proxy, primary proxy address, secondary proxy address, outboud proxy, proxy port:5060, outbound proxy port:5060, prefix string, line 1 number, line 1 account, line 1 password, SIP port:5060, RTP Port 16384, expire: 60.
i have primary proxy and outbound proxy info from 1899, i have entered line 1 as the number i joined 1899 with and password as the account number they gave me as i dont have any other password other than the one to login to website.
I dont recieve any dial tone at all, i dont think the router and phone are talking, the status lights is constantly flashing, according to teh manual this means they are not connected properly but it knows it is there but i dont know what else to try.
If anybody can help
Many Thanks
Mike
