1. How is it that my new threads do not come up as bold text like everyone elses?
2. How do you link another thread in to the body of a current post. I can do HTTP's but not other links?

Right I have manged to get the better interface. But I am still not sure how to make a hyperlink to another thread on the chat forum? Like above your post in point 2. is in blue and hyperlinks me to the relevant page........ ?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

When you chose 'Qoute' or 'Post Reply' (not 'Quick Reply') options for your new post there is a 'Insert Hyperlink' button (globe-like) in the small toolbar above. Just make some experiments and use 'Preview Post' option before 'Submit' to make sure you get result you want.N9eav wrote:Right I have manged to get the better interface. If you know the thread number (you can get this in the URL), then you can link to it like this:
{thread=75133}SEE THIS THREAD{/thread} where the curly bracket is actually [

Look Here
Once you've changed to enhanced interface, it's easy to make links.
First of all, go to the thread you want to link and copy it's url from the address bar
Then you write the text you want to become a link - e.g. 'Click Here'
Highlight thr 'Click Here', and select
You are then asked for the URL.0 -

only board guides and abuse and the mse team can close threads. my guess is it was heading in the wrong direction or a repeat post depending which forum it was in
