Help wanted with credit limits for transfers

I am in urgent need to transfer about £5000 over to a new 0% or Low interest. I have managed to get £8000 to £5000 withour paying a penny in interest so far. This all avoided a loan for a car in the first place. So now I am getting stuck. I could easily take out a car loan 5.9% or get a mortgage deal for 4.39%. Even MBNA will give me 6 months at 1.9%, then perhaps back to the Egg 0% loophole for 5 months..... and back to MBNA.

Anyway, it's getting a little complicated and I am fed up with it.

I tried Texaco 3.9% life of balance, but I could not get enough credit.

Virgin was also out for soem reason (because i have an MBNA card?)

Anyone got any ideas, or what the credit limits are on texaco?

CCs with low life-of-balance rate always give low limits. This is quite understandable: they don't have a chance that you start paying higher interest rate after 'N' months.
