think my head is spinning now LOL, but i still get different figures, i get payments due including feb as £3024 (9* 236 and 6 * 150). i then get payments made as 2780 (9 * 150 and 5 * 236 and 1 * 250) thats where i get my arrears figure from of £244. the payments made are the correct ones except for missing novembers one. augusts does show as missed but in fact julys 2nd payment covers that one. as for the 14, its just me adding it to the 236 to make 250 (last payment made )trying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0

Hi
Sorry, I think I've not helped because I misunderstood.
Did you make an extra payment of 250 in Feb ... or was this the 236 payment and you made an extra payment of 14?
In the meantime I'll try to set out my spreadsheet a bit clearer so I can explain it better - but I'm in and out a bit today so if I don't do it straightaway, don't think I've forgotten you.
Hang on in there - we'll get there together. Honestly!0 -

Thanks Patchy.
OK - firstly, now I understand :j .
I would have said that your figures are absolutely right - when I look at the table you say you've provided back to the IVA people and I do the calculation, I make your arrears 244 as well.
I think there are a number of things you could try.
1. I think you should contact your IVA people again and ask to speak to the person who's dealing with your case - who I assume you must have spoken to before? They've told you (from memory) that you can only speak to their designated person - so I would play them at their own game and make sure you speak to that person about your situation again. Forgive me if you've already tried this.
2. Did they take 2 payments out in July from your bank account, or did they take one in July and one in August but have just shown it as 2 payments on the statement you've reproduced above? If they took 2 payments in July, then that should be relatively easy to prove with your bank statements.
3. It is really important that you can prove that you made the November payment - again, a bank statement should be able to help you with this I would imagine.
They clearly have made a mistake - but it does seem quite complicated - it's certainly taken me a bit of time (as you know!) to get my head around it.
Fermi posted some useful info the other day and it might be worth following up some of those links. In addition, how did you get on with CAB (I think you were going?).
Hope some of this helps

thanks for all your help on this one, you are a star, as for your questions,..... 1, she is refusing to speak to me about this any further and the last thing she said was that if i am right it will show at the end of the IVA....2, only 1 payment was made in july, its just the way they listed it made it look as if i missed august.....3, i have got proof of november, ive sent it off but again they wont acknowledge it at all. they just say the same as above that if im right it will show at the end of the IVA.....4, i did speak to the CAB who gave me the number for the insolvency helpline who told me basically the same as you have and to send it all off by recorded delivery, they also told me that if my supervisor tried to push for bankruptcy it would get thrown out as all their figures are incorrect.....i guess ive done all i can now, but at least someone with a brain (you) can see that i have got all my figures right. again, thanks for all your help. well i am just off to mates house to celebrate my husbands promotion that he got offered today so thats one bonus !!trying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0 -
Can I just ask that if you missed a payment, why the amount due the following month wasn't £300 and was just £236 ?0

:T :j Congrats to your DH :T :j
That's great news about the promotion. That should help in any case - and always good to get some good news when things aren't great.
Glad I've helped a bit in any case.
Good luck tomorrow - I think you said you had a support worker coming to see you tomorrow? I think it was anyway. Good luck and I hope that the appointment goes well.
Don't forget to keep posting - I assume you have now/will now send off the stuff to the IVA people - the proof that you've paid what you think you've paid and they are wrong? Good that the CAB can see your side too.
Take care

this is because the payments are fixed amounts, technically yes i should have paid more but we just didnt have it as i had been signed off sick and hubby had lost his job thats why we paid what we could afford at the timetrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0 -

trying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0 -
I was just wondering if that's where the IVA company had got the 'extra' amounts from - are they including both the missed payments and the shortfall of the other payments. I've probably got it wrong and I don't know how IVA payments etc work, but it occured to me that might be why.... all sounds a bit of mess and I sympathise.0
