Why don't you get a loan (around 6.8% at moment - Tesco are good) for the 7K and then the monthly repayments will be lower, and you won't be paying anywhere near as much interest as you are now. Then don't use your credit cards once you have cleared them! I know it's hard but once you stop using them you feel so much more in control (I know)!
