NPower hassling us

Options
Hello,

we moved into our new house in Sep and transferred gas and 'leccy from npower to Southern as cheaper.

But npower are still trying to bill us despite Southern confirming the switch completed in Nov.

We have complained, asked Southern to send through the ness info, but nothing seems to work.

I've been paying Southern a hefty amount for energy every month - !!!!!!ed if I'm paying Npower as well!

What next?

You moved into your new house in September but the switch from npower to Southern wasn't completed until November. Have you paid npower the two months gas & electricity charges for September/October?
  • we have paid for the gas which was billed up to the correct date but not for the 'leccy as we have been billed from Sep to Jan, while SE were actually supplying us from Nov.

We have requested a revised bill which we are more than willing to pay, but no joy.

Put it in writing to N-Power and enclose a copy of your electric bill from SE, or if no bill yet....put it in writing anyway.

  • we've just spoke to someone at npower who sounded quite clued up.

they said they have put the account in dispute and requested info from SE.

    Hopefully that will sort it!
