Another thumbs up for John Lewis

Bought a 32" Sony TV. Smooth straight forward ordering - call a couple of days later to arrange delivery. Nice helpful delivery men. I absolutely LOVE the TV. Came with free 5 year guarantee too.

Perfect buying experience.

Compare that to going into local (yuk) Tesco. Tv on display but none in stock. No idea when new ones will come in. "They just arrive". Didn't even offer to order or point me in the direction of Tesco Direct. !!!! customer service.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Yes, but you don't get Clubcard points at John Lewis. And I bet that you could have save a few pennies by buying from Tesco.

    Tesco are a bit useless when it comes to their electrical goods. They don't seem equipped for it. You ever seen what they do with a large TV when taking out to customer? They balance it on a normal trolley, wouldn't surprise me if they lost a few because of that. They also seem ignorant of their obligations (to repair etc).
