Prudential - A 'Comedy' of Clerical Errors

Warning - avoid Prudential car insurance if you like efficient customer service!

On Friday I needed to call Green Flag as my car battery went dead on wednesday and just could not get it started by any means. I rang the Pru to check I'd got breakdown (free offer through them) and they said it hadn't been added, but they'd sort it and call Green Flag for me.
Anyway I called GF to sort the car, and they claimed I had no policy with them. ANOTHER call to Pru to sort out.
The GF guy turned up in about 40 mins, proceeded to charge the car, but couldn't get it started either and suggested the immobilser had kicked in. Towed to the Ford garage late Friday night. DH sent to dealer to tell then the problem.
Today, the dealer calls me to say there's actually nothing wrong with the car (except a flat battery) and the numpty from GF hadn't connected up all the battery wires after trying to charge it, hence it wouldn't start.

I had a minor knock in my car back in August, which dragged on for a while. In the end the other driver didn't claim (minor scratch to his paintwork). I got my renewal on Saturday, claiming I've only got 1 year's NCD (I actually have 4). Rang them up just now and it turns out the claims department didn't close it correctly. Funnily enough they're closed, so I've got to call them back tomorrow.

Bunch of bleeping incompetents!
