I want to close my Egg account and am thinking of moving my money to Principality ESaver.
Before I do, any comments about Principality? I need to have instant access as I use my savings to supplement my income, and pay for unexpected large bills etc.
The interest is paid annually; I would prefer monthly but no choice.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Principality E-Saver rate is likely to be reduced on or around 1st March following February Base Rate Reduction, No reduction was made following previous base rate decrease hence reason Principality E-Saver is prominent in the best buy tables.
Whilst rate will remain higher than Egg rate whatever occurs on 1st March 2008, peoples experiences have been BACS withdrawals from Principality E-Saver taking longer than from most other online accounts.
Assessing the situation after March 1st ish might be a good idea, or factor in a 0.25% reduction on this account should u wish to make a decision now.0 -
Thanks for that Bristolleedsfan. I might wait a couple of weeks then.

Whilst Yorkshire BS Internet Saver is currently 0.30% Gross below Principality E-Saver with a rate reduction also likely on or around 1st March, it does offer true instant access via a link cashpoint card.
