When? From where? Malaysian, Singapore Airlines & Royal Brunei have a sale on until end of Feb, working out about £500 including tax. Bare in mind taxes run to about £200.
I'm sure someone will advise about the old Oasis / Macao overland Kabul / Basra option that could save you 15 shekhels if don't mind taking 3 weeks to get there.0 -
If you can get to Malaysia and want flexibility, AirAsia do about 10 return flights a day for around £70 return.0

Can you post details please? I'd love to see Kabul but can't find an airline that flies there. As for Basra, I would not want to leave the airport but would like to experience one of the spectacular near-vertical landings and take-offs that are in style there.0 -

Here's some info on KK airport with a list of airlines that use it.

The cheapest airline will probably be Royal Brunei, as it's a Muslim airline and 'dry'. I flew with them a couple of years ago from London to Bali - they were really good, but they stopped twice on the way back (at Brunei, and then Bangladesh). So if you're not bothered by not being able to  then it's probably the one for you!
Failing this you'll probably get a good deal by flying in to a nearby destination which is a major hub such as Kuala Lumpur and then getting a local budget flight on Air Asia. I've found Emirates the best airline for cheap flights to Malayasia, and tend to book with them direct, as their website is the best for allowing you to vary the times of your flights and connections (ie a site like Expedia often offers flights with a 7 hour stopover in Dubai - book direct and you can probably change it to a 3 hour one)0 -
Airasia have a sale on atm.
Maybe you can get the KL>KK leg for £12 each way0 -
Thanks cathryn107 /alric ..Have a nice day !!!!!!0
