Strange Request!

Hey everyone,

Firstly thanks for reading, any help that you can provide is much appreciated:)

So basically I've found a company that will wrap vinyl advertising onto my new company car for me but i don't know the exact dimensions of the car so I cant tell how big to make the ad etc etc..

The car i have is a prius T3.. does anyone know where I can get the exact dimensions of door, bonnet etc?

Thank you!!

Stu

ps. Just incase you were wondering why i dont measure it myself, I dont actually have the car yet!

The Toyota/Prius website has some external dimensions, but not down to every panel as perhaps you need.

Maybe a call or visit to the dealer who supplied the car (or any Toyota dealer) either to measure yourself or get any information they may have.

A professional vinyl wrapping company should have a database of precise vehicle dimensions and panel sizes. That's what happens with our charity's motorcycles.

My missus is a signmaker and does vehicle wrapping - she went on a course at the material manufacturers.. Cheesy.Mike is right about the database and her company do have a CD with them all on however the CDs need to be purchased annually to get new models which is expensive and she says they're not always accurate - certainly Transits seem to cause an issue.

She reckons on £1000+ for a full wrap and for a proper job, the lights, door handle and trims all need to be removed.

And no, she can't do it because she's stacked out with work for the Holiday Camps for the next 2 months :)
