we are seriously considering trying again to view this property
it says on the website 2 bed flat, when you open up "more details" etc it calls it a 2 bed maissonette(sp) yet it is arranged over 3 floor and it seems that is all there is, we have passed the house before and it just looks the size of a house,
http://search.reedsrains.co.uk/detailsLite.aspx?chainid=0001&Reference=200013497
now the kitchen and bathroom are on ground floor and livingroom and bedrooms over 1st and 2nd floors, i suggested to my OH perhaps they have called it a maissonette because the actual "living" area of the house is the 1st floor and not ground.
any ideas, suggestion, opinions greatfully recieved
cheers

Is there another "flat" squeezed into the downstairs? Just the kitchen seems quite narrow and the photo doesn't look like I would've expected if it had the whole of that front sash window. Plus I notice that there is no mention of outside space, or any "back door"/exit to the rear. I guess the only way to find out is to speak to the agent, or better, go view it. The difference between a maisonette and a flat is usually that Maisonettes are part of the same building but completely self-contained - each has their own front doors, accessable from the street, regardless of where the majority of the living accommodation is.
I doubt they'd be marketing a house as a flat and downstairs does seem smaller than up, so maybe there is another flat downstairs
Guess you have to go and look! Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'd guess that downstairs has a separate entrance at the rear. Also, I notice that the front window on the LHS doesn't seem to have a corresponding room in the property description (although the window matches, so it's part of the same building and not the neighbouring property) so I guess the other flat/maisonette also has some upstairs space. The description mentions a loo with a window to the "side" aspect (in a terraced house), which strongly suggests that the back of the property has a 2 story extension. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

in short, no!
stupid bloody EA sd they were waiting to hear back from the vendor and everytime we rang they put us off saying they were still waiting to hear,
but then again everyone we know who has used this EA has said theyre useless, dad and uncle bboth were selling houses with them and pd their houses from them as they were doing as they said they would, i.e. they said they would have the property in the local paper for the next 4 weeks and it wasnt there so they lost money from both my dad and my uncle0
