If i was you I would get someone to measure you, when you contact her she will send you the measurements she need to know or you could just go onto one of here ebay listings and she has a list of measurements on there, there is also a size chart on there as well.

I gave her all my measurements just to make sure and she said she would make it to my measurements.

If mine comes on time it will be about 5 weeks but I asked her for one that was not on the website, If she has dresses listed it may be a shorter time.

I'm normally a size 14 and matched to a size 12 on her site but I got a friend to measure me and my measurements just happened to be one of her standard sizes.

It's best if you get yourself measured as it will probably prevent you having to have the dress altered and you can also have it made at the correct length. Depending on the style of your dress it may be difficult to have it taken up.

My dress took about 8 weeks to come but there was a 2 week holiday for Chinese New Year in the middle and I asked for the train to be detachable which would have taken extra time.

Just to let you all know I was emailing Landy about underskirts and she gave me the tracking number for my dress...when tracked it shows its left china..wooohoooo
Im really nervous now...I brought mine and paid for ems on 28th March ... Will let you all know what its like when it gets here

BTW...K8te...you look stunning! If my dress looks as good I will be over the moon

I have to say reading your post though you sound like i did/do! i tried mine on and my friend took some pics, i had no make up on, hair a mess etc and just looked at them and though hmm gorgeous dress but not wow..i am only a size 10 and the model on landys site must be dinky in mine she has more shape and i just felt like it looks rubbish on me as i am quite broad at the top..
Anyway waffling over i haven't tried it on since as it needs adjusting at the back then i will get pics done! I shall make sure hair done etc! I also now have petticoat etc and shoes so we will see!

Great sellar though well chuffed!

nannis you must be so excited!!!! my only took 4 days, it left china on sat and they tried to deliver on tuesday, but was at work, you will have to let us know when it comes, i hope you love it as much as i love mine!!!

gabyjane - so it's here, yes just got mine back from being taking in on the bust and so much more support and shape, but i just broke the bloody zip! i knew it would go when i first tried it on as it was soooo stiff, but glad it has gone now and not on the day! And good timing as taking all the bridesmaid dress's to be altered on friday so can take it too. Make sure you put photo's on here, i love looking at other peoples dress's x x

I just logged into parcelforce with the tracking number and this is the info showing..

Nope I got nothing at all it just turned up. It looks like it is in the UK awaiting customs clearance which is necessary for all overseas post.

I didn't have to pay any customs charges - it depends what value she has put on the label on the front of the parcel.

Shouldn't be long now!

nannis try not to worry i know its hard not too though. Mine came through TNT delivery, and the tracking page didn't have anything about awaiting for customs, but their system my be different. I can't see who ever posts all the dress's from Landy, putting one thing on one then changing it on another, i would think they use all the same descriptions on all the dress's. But just think it should be here tommorrow, and you will have your lovely dress to try on and admire! x x
