Anyone know New Milton, Hampshire, area?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-8580663.rsp?pa_n=15&tr_t=buy

In particular this house and this area, what's it like? (It seems rather cheap for a 3 bed house in New Milton so wondering what the catch is).

Cheers in advance

Know the area and think I know the road - had a friend who lived there.
New Milton on paper looks lovely. Middle of New Forest - great place.
Its a bit scabby though and mainly full of old people and a fair few council estates. Not a lot of high paying jobs keeps prices down especially in town.
This is one of the estates - ex council house backing onto other ex council houses. The area isnt the nicest and although interior looks nice cant do much for the exterior.

I wasnt happy leaving my car parked outside.

    Thanks joel,

I kinda guessed as much as it's been on sale for ages, shame though as like you say, on paper it's the perfect location!
