New roof for brick shed

Can anyone help me with choosing the best material to re-roof my outside (brick) shed? There's so much to choose from that I don't know what to get.
The old material was sheet asbestos (our council will take this) that lasted nearly 40 years before it became totally porous. What I want is something that will see me out (at least 50 years) but is not too difficult to install or too expensive to buy ... I'll be re-roofing the shed with my ex. I definitely don't want a transparent roof, either. Also, if anyone knows of a good web site to use to get the materials, that would be fab.
Here's hoping...:j
