A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

You won't get a flight from BHX to Tokyo. You'll have to go from LHR and the cost rtn to Tokyo is around £500. One way would be around £850.
Can't really comment on the Pakistan flights.Charles J0 -
I don't know about flights direct from Brum - I'd just travel down to Heathrow.
There are some cheap indirect flights to Tokyo - you can find these on expedia - usually via a hub like Amsterdam or Zurich (or even Helsinki) - as I recall there's a very cheap deal from Aeroflot though I wouldn't touch it, and you can also save money by going via Hong Kong. Expedia generally get better prices than our very keen company corporate deals and I doubt you'll beat them anywhere, so check there.
Multidestination flights are always expensive for some reason unless you can stick with the same airline throughout (and even then they are often more than the sum of their parts). But you may be able to get a return to Lahore, and a return from Lahore to Tokyo. Certainly worth a look, and also see if you can get a ticket booked in Pakistan as it may be cheaper than the same ticket booked here.
Having done Tokyo and Hong Kong a few times, I would thoroughly recommend Virgin for the long haul flights - their on demand entertainment systems make a 12 hour flight very tolerable indeed, though you need to try to avoid a seat with the aforesaid entertainment system in a tin box under the seat if possible as this cuts down legroom. I would definitely not recommend JAL - the economy seats are designed for dainty Japanese people with short legs and there are some leg rests that dig into your shins.0
