i got some more good bargains yesterday-

another botanics face cream 50p plus 100 points with voucher
pantene shampoo & conditioner- 50p each plus 300 points with voucher
bottle of peroxide (very useful for me as my hair needs highlighting again) 50p cos the label was ripped
free jar of baby food with voucher

total spend - 2.00, and i got 400 points!!

BTW Has anyone managed to use the pink £5 voucher and highlighter voucher in he same transaction in any n. ireland stores? I have been refused so far and really want a highlighter before the offer ends

I have used both voucers and got GWP several times. Once in Sprucefield but the rest in Belfast (Donegal Place) Just don't try it at the No7 counter! I got highlighter, another No7 product to bring price to over £20, pink jewellery box (GWP). Hand these over at the till, when they have been put through the till hand over the highlighter voucher and once it has been scanned give in the pink £5 off voucher. HTH.

What a lovely way to look at it - I will remember this in future. I also had the double mastectomy done last year at the age of 36 after breast cancer diagnosis. I've given my little boy the pink box - bless him he loves it!!! Doesn't get yet that boys don't normally like pink things!!! He's not stopped playing with it since he got up. Will go and get myself another one today - thats if you've left any for me....... LOL.

I agree...and I've got a theory about this too. Less staff to grab the bargains! If a line gets reduced in a store with 30 staff in that day chances are one of them (or a friend of one of them) will use that product and grab the lot if the reduction is big. In a small store with 5 or 6 staff? Less chance.

I don't begrudge the staff the chance to grab the best of the bargains, btw. I've worked in retail ...never again! It's a hard job, the pay isn't great and there can be some awful customers (NOT us or anyone here, honestly!!) who can be really unreasonable and offensive. Thats why I'm always nice to staff, until they prove themselves unworthy, of course. And anyway, you can get more out of anyone with a spoonful of sugar, I find. Last time I was at the till with a basket of a favourite reduced shampoo and being enthusiastic, the SA trotted off through the back and found me a couple more bottles.

I can't understand why the P&P was sent to the larger stores (hope I read that right lol) because I got mine from one of the smallest stores around. It hasn't even got an ACM. Another one of Boots' mysteries
