Hi all on the Boots thread ...

Not a Boots-0-phile but I do like my points ... :rotfl:

When I was in the other day on one of my rare visits I had a handful of couponogs from Baby mailings etc and was trying to combine as best possible ... anyway amongst them I had a Pantene £2 off voucher from the Book of Coupons and a 200 extra points on Pantene from another mailing ... anyhow I decided to buy two products ... I had hoped the Pantene stuff was 2 for £4 like online and had intended to get 2 £3.99 Restoratives products to max the saving ... but they were not on offer in store so I bought ....

    1 Restoratives @ £2.99 and 1 Pantene Clarifying @ £1.79

... and I was only charged 99p for the pricier one and nothing for the other one! ... and I got the 200 points too ... I wish I had got more because obviously the £2 saving must come off each ...

Has anyone else got experience of this?

    LB ... :^)

PS .... Also 'scuse for asking ... but whats a GWP?

    Ello Chick:j

GWP = Gift with Purchase (a free 'un)

Pantene is/was 2 for £4 instore LB......well, it was on friday ......bought some meself :)

What order did you put the vouchers through please?
    TIA

    Hi,

If you hand over the 250 extra points voucher over first, followed by the £5.00 off voucher then it should go ok - that's what I did this morning & they both went through without any problems.

  • I was explaining to a friend how to do the hilights/No7purchase/GWP/£5 voucher - gave her all the vouchers to start her off and showed her what to do in the right order ( it was like "heres one i made earlier shows" with all the products and vouchers lined up).
What she noticed which I had not was that on the voucher for points from the GWP box one side is for ireland only.
So it ma sound daft but if the sa scans the wronw side it wont go through and thats why some people have had the points and others not.

    Hi

Are you just going to use voucher to get highlighter or use it to get the gwp? I don't have a spare voucher and our main store is all out of H&B. I have a spare highlighter you can have if you wish. Its the darker one island glow.

    Let me know:o
