Lol at you lot!!! I had a sale item in my basket, then it was out of stock, then it was available again, then it wasn't.... I've given up now, lol.I get my order done and go to checkout enter all details etc, then when it goes to confirm order, i get a red message saying contact customer services error 300!!! It doesn't matter how i try and check out either paypal or card
Just keep trying. I have had the same problem myself in the past. I have even phoned the Boots helpline and they are aware of the problem! It is just a bug in the system (maybe when too many people are trying to check out quickly with the sale items)?!!

Looking at the list of coupons on the new magazine, it looks like it will be a chance to clean up on 17 products. If I understand it correctly, you can get a free lip glaze with any 17 purchase, and 17 products are 3 4 2, and online it says you get a free lip pallette with any 5 pound purchase of 17. If they let you have all of those offers together, you could spend 6 or 7 pounds to get your 3 items (one free), and then get the lip pallette and glaze, too. Wow, I don't even need anything else really, but I may have to grab some 17 products!
Couldn't you do it like you can on the tevor sorbie stuff, so you could for example get a lip glaze, then two items that cost less or the same as the lip glaze, then it would take one item off for free, then you could use the voucher for free lip glaze, therefore you would then only have to pay for one item and you would get the lip pallette for free. So for example you could buy two eyshadows at 2.99 each and one lip glaze at 3.79, this would take you over five pounds so you would get the free gift. Then it would take one of the eyeshadows off as the free one, then you could use the voucher, which would leave you 2.99 to payMarried 09/09/090 -

and there was me thinking i would take a rest from boots after this weekend..............it sounds like a challenge lol might just have to pop out and test it :rotfl:coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -
Pirates Of The Caribbean Whirlpool Melee Playset - there still appear to be a couple of these "in stock" if anyone is looking?
Late edit - Apparently they are a better buy on Amazon! so only any use if you're topping up an order to get free delivery or bonus points.0 -
I initially used this offer sucessfully when BES was on half price and the voucher took off half the original price so you got the item free and 1p off your shopping. Having tried several times in several stores for the baby wipes glitch (and failed) i studied my vouchers (kindly donated by several ladies off here after my handbag was stolen). I have noticed there are 2 different barcodes so am wondering if it only works with a particular voucher. Will try other voucher and see if that works as DD1 needs some wipes (we get thro hundreds i think). Wondered if this is why its not working for everyone.
I've tried this twice for Baby expert wipes with half price voucher (with three kids under 5 , I def go thru zillions of the things!!).
First time my local friendly SA overode the voucher as if had beeped :T .
Second try the SA refused as she said the voucher clearly states skincare and that doesn't include wipes!!
Looks like the old Boots definition of skincare saga continues...........:rolleyes:0 -

That would be great if they would let you do it that way; someone will surely test it and tell us how it works out!0 -
Morning,
I got the mothers day email from boots this morning and i am tempted by the babyliss BEliss hair dryer / straighteners. Just wondering if anyone has used this? does it work??
to be honest it sounds too good to be true!0 -
There was a poster who had tried one of the items on the offer and DID NOT recommend it.
I will see if I can find which one it was ,babyliss rings a bell though!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Hi All
Just received the 1/2 price mothers day gifts email and just thought I would give you my opinion on one of the products in case you were thinking about buying it. It is the BaByliss BeLiss hairdryer. My OH bought me one for my birthday as I thought it may save time srraightening my hair. Anyway...the first time I used it my hair looked awful!! it went so dry and frizzy at the ends and I was gutted because I didn't think I would be able to take it back as I had used it so I persevered. but after another couple of attempts with it I started smelling burning and the ends of my hair were so bad that I had to stop using it and get a hair cut! I didn't buy it from Boots, I got it from Tesco and they were only too willing to give me a refund when I told them about the burning smell.
Just thought I would try and save you the hassle if you were thinking about getting one!! After taking it back, I got the Tresemme one from Boots as a replacement and love it! The ionic feature really makes your hair much shner and less frizzy than an ordinary one!
HTH
This was the post I was remembering,it was the Babyliss BeLiss:eek::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0
