    OMG:eek:

I just added up all my Jan/Feb Boots receipts and then added on the .com order values. I have spent a total of £447.60 in Boots since the beginning of the January sale and the infamous High Lights mag voucher. Sounds worse than it is though cos I have practically sorted birthdays and Christmas for the year and I have a HUGE family (between DH and me we have 18 brothers and sisters, let alone our kids, nieces, nephews etc etc etc etc etc:rotfl:)

But I also calculated the points per pound average I have been getting and it is brilliant. I have a whopping £196.27 on my AC. At Christmas I had 80p left on it after Christmas shopping....so that means I have gained £195.47 in points since Christmas (mostly thanks to No. extra point vouchers from No 7 gift sets in the sale and the GWP...but also some fab extra point offers on .com....oh....and all the virtual babies my family have had for me!)

Based on my £447.60 spend that is a massive 43.67% points (or 43.67p for every £1 I spend in Boots). (Good job my DH doesn't read this thread:o)

I have to say though that things will definitely ease up once the mag voucher£5 pink voucher offer finishes because having scanned the new mag voucher list there is not anything there that will really make me want to spend, spend spend;)

...not even the FREE 17 lip glaze? ;)

Gosh, you have spent rather a lot of money;) I'm too afraid to add up my reciepts. I think the shock would be too much:rotfl:

I regret using up my last mag voucher for free high lights yesterday. Since there are reports of the 5.00PC scanning ok now. I don't need more highlights, but I do need to use the PC, and I wouldn't say no to another GWP:D

I was worried about adding up all my receipts....but as almost all the shop purchases have been made with GFs I am not too worried. Friends and family are giving me Boots GFs now and I have several to work my way through (thank you gift to me for photoshoots I do for them as I never, ever charge anyone except for the cost of photos and frames). So in reality most of my Boots shopping is guilt free anyway....and they give me a GF thinking I will get £40 or £100 of stuff for myself...and in reality I get far more than that cos I maximise the mag voucher and GWPs...then that gives me more points and so it goes on...and on....and on...and on!
  • Hmm I have a photo of the Scar Serum to post - but I can't see how
    What a numpty I am!
    :rotfl:
You need to upload the image onto some webspace, Photobucket for example, start your forum post, click on the "insert image" link which looks like two mountains on a stamped postcard then copy paste the url into the pop up box.

hi went to trafford centre on mon night - had s&g sets and accessorize boxes at full price near ground floor entrance - part of mothers day display i think. Even got SA to scan S&g set but came up at £15.00!!

Where do they normally have reductions/clearance in this store?

    Thanks

Next time, drag SA to the shelf.
If you look on the mothers day stand (upstairs) it says 1/3 off on S&G products *on this shelf* And i know the sets that are on that shelf (sad i know), and Steamy Showers (£15) definately is!
So where it actually states £15 for the valentine's set, it *should* scan for a 1/3 less = £10. Athough some lucky blighters are finding it for £5!
I'd try again with this ammo if i were you hun.

That's not so bad then...actually, that's great:D I, on the other hand spend cash mostly. Now you know why I won't add up my reciepts;)

Looking at the list of coupons on the new magazine, it looks like it will be a chance to clean up on 17 products. If I understand it correctly, you can get a free lip glaze with any 17 purchase, and 17 products are 3 4 2, and online it says you get a free lip pallette with any 5 pound purchase of 17. If they let you have all of those offers together, you could spend 6 or 7 pounds to get your 3 items (one free), and then get the lip pallette and glaze, too. Wow, I don't even need anything else really, but I may have to grab some 17 products!

I think the ones at the front or the store are the mothers day gifts not the valentines ones, i dont know where they keep the reduced stuff here, i've been in a few times for the p & p sets but they never have them, will try urmston & stretford and let you know if i find any bargins.

    Cheers fellow Mancunian Bootser ;)

PS: No P&P sets at Traf Centre for past week, 1/3 off FCUK, TB and S&G upstairs near back of shop under 'soaps' an go to Manchester Fort for lots of P&P sets
