Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 18 - Post your finds here

I have some Lancome products in my .com basket.....because I really want the free bag...looks lush;) Of course you have to buy two Lancome products to get it free (but they also give you a second freebie...so got to be worth it). Of course, then if I add one more premium beauty item I'll get 1000 points....so added an Urban Retreat £5 thingy mentioned by Mumzy above (don't know what it is, don't want or need it but hey it works to give me 1000 points)
Now...the dilema is I've only spent £27 - do I pay delivery...or do I find some other necessities to take the total over £40 and get free delivery:rolleyes: or do I keep going because I know that if reach £60 I will get 600 AC points AND there is a code floating about for a further 500 points.
Decisions, decisions.......and do I NEED any of it:rotfl:
I am going to leave it in my basket for two hours....if it's still all in stock when I go back and I decide I NEED rather than just WANT it then I submit the order.
Boots know how to pull us in....we think we are playing them at their own game, but they are not daft by any stretch of the imagination.
Don't keep going up to £60 for the sake of 6 quids worth of points babe.. Not ideal moneysaving IMO.
Although i did order things last night primary to get the lancome gifts (all for me me me!) and as it happens, i also met the points criterias yay,
the things i bought to get them my mum is giving me the money back for as she's order through me to help me get points/freebies, sweet!
If you can find a use for your order go for it,(or get someone to order through you like i did and recoup the money) but if not, i'd hang tight until you NEED something form there, and don't worry, the 600 and 500 points will be around for a bit yet...as will the GWP

Don't forget to look at the fragrance gift sets that are still left from Christmas and are around half price, I think they aree great value for money, and you can get yourself 2 for what you would have spent on one!! Gotta be good!!I'm just browsing the Boots website - I really don't NEED anything .... but... that's never stopped me before!!!;)
I think I may spend some of my points instore this weekend on perfumes for Mothers Day with free gifts! I may aswell pick my own pressie so OH can't get it wrong!!:j0 -

I was thinking of buying one of these for my Friend's Birthday because it seems such a bargain, do you think it would be ok as a Birthday present for one person even though it is kind of aimed at two ppl? Does it look too much like a reduced Valentines day present?Proud to be dealing with my debt. :jLightbulb Moment - June 2006Debt Free Date Estimated @ [strike]July 2010[/strike] [strike] May 2010[/strike] March 2010.

Just wanted to say Hi. I have only just discovered this thread and am addicted to reading it already. I already look out for bargains in boots, check for offers and vouchers etc.
Today I bought some Thortons Valentines Chocolates in Boots, reduced from £2.49 to 63p. They are the truffle cups that say I love you. I also bought some chocolate heart lollies also Thorntons and reduced from 99p to 25p!! The sell by date isn't until May 2008. It seems they are reducing all their Valentines things. Sorry if someone has already posted this.Proud to be dealing with my debt. :jLightbulb Moment - June 2006Debt Free Date Estimated @ [strike]July 2010[/strike] [strike] May 2010[/strike] March 2010.

Don't know if this has been answered because I'm still catching up but Boots do sell some Easter stuff. They do character buckets with small choc eggs in (Barbie, In the Night Garden etc) and breakfast sets with bowl, spoon etc. They're on 3 fo 2 too :TLOL.. a bit like me then, you should have seen my pathetic attempt to make an easter card y-day. gosh it was shocking! i will NOT be given that to anyone lol
Do boots sell easter eggs ever??:smileyhea Proud Mummy of 2 :smileyheaTotally addicted to Boots glitches & the Next sales!0 -
Sorry to disappoint but I got a big fat nothing. Didn't particularly need anything, they had some No7 cosmetics in clearance and some hair dyes but nothing of use to me. No S&G sets or P&P sets. They did have the hat boxes though. I find it harder to find my way around the really big stores so I should probably stick to my localsOh, sam84uk - how did u get on bootsing in Sheffield today? Fill us all in girlie
