I am really fed up

I bought myself as a treat a Ghost Cherish gift set. I had a few perfumes on the go so didn't open it till just now before I go out. Anyway the lid was tough to get off, then when it did come off the whole thing came off..sprayer and all. It doesn't look broken or anything but you cannot screw the sprayer bit back on so it won't work. I really don't want a refund, I want a bottle of the perfume I paid for. Do you think that even though it was a gift set because it was faulty they will swap it for a bottle of the perfume? I don't think I have the reciept or anything but the box it is in is only sold in boots (I think) and it still has the sticky price label from boots on it.

Do you recon I should ring CS first?

I love this perfume and bought it as a treat, I don't want to end up with the money back just a bottle of it.

Anyone know if Boots Clearance is still at Beckton Triangle? Need to go over tomorrow, so thought I might have a nosey if it's still trading!

It did go with mine-clearance N7 items (not R&B). I used £5 off N 7 to buy reduced £5 foundation and £4 eye gel:beer: :T

Not sure what they will do, do they not have any more sets left?
If you really get stuck, I purchased one yesterday and have the reciept, which I shall dig out of recycling.
If you get really stuck, I know perfume lady really well in my store.

It didn't go through with that compact at the Fishergate Centre though, so maybe it only works on No 7 clearance?

Swapping is not allowed I think on MSE. But the good news is, there is another very friendly board paidtoshop.co.uk which has a dedicated Swaps board where people post vouchers they want to swap. And also a Giveaways thread if you just want rid of them without swapping.

There are also loads of threads on different Tesco subjects and loads of info on points collecting etc. Alternatively you can PM (send a Private Message) to members and sort something out off-thread. Hope this makes sense.

Thank you Broclo, I shall ring CS in the morning and see what they say. They do have a Ghost gift set now but it has been updated since christmas so I don't know if they will exchange it.

So much for "under the radar" for me today

Found S&G so took it to a till and got called over by what looked like the Manager and the No7 Manager, I asked them to scan the S&G saying I believe it had been marked down to half price, they were like a pair of "Churchill dogs" No no no, they said in unison shaking their heads, Manager scanned it and said customer is right so put that through with my first purchase of the day of Scar serum, total £11.49 to pay, received longed for £5 voucher and 178 points

He them wandered round scanning everything to check prices and when we was walking towards till with hat box I said thats reduced to £9, he was shocked I knew this before him!

Decided I would use the same till for all my purchases today and was really upfront with the No7 Manager

Asked if they had any new mags and was told no, I said some stores have it out now but SA said they didnt have them, she also asked how i knew what was in them and I said "like I said some stores already have them out, you have learnt a lot from me today haven't you", she agreed and laughed

Had to leave store I couldn't carry any more lol

Can't wait for bathtime tonight, new face mask, S&G shower gel followed by Rightous butter

yes it is but not worth the bother. better bargains in normal stores. not much in yesterday.
