You guys are so lovely. Basically mum's gone off on one again because dad's not helping the situation at all and she's finally said what I think she's been thinking for ages which is she doesn't want to be here (i.e. with dad) any more.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Gem honey, people have their ups and downs, you know that. And, I'm not saying that your mum doesn't want to leave your dad but debt is a massive strain and sometimes it clouds our feelings towards everything.
What worries me so much though, is that you take everyone's problems and make them your burdon. You are sick right now and you don't need added stress. You are without doubt an amazingly caring daughter and your parents must be so proud of you but please do try to think about Gem once in a while.:A

Everyone keeps making everything my problem. When I finally got dad to sit down and sort out money last January, it was like his attitude was oh it's all sorted and gone away now.
I don't know what to do any more. I feel like I don't have a life to go back to any more, more because of being sick so often and for so long. I'm so lost at the moment. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Gemmz it's not your fault. Things happen that sometimes we have no control over so please don't blame yourself or anything. Just try to support your parents while accepting their adults and capable of sorting their own lifes out. Concentrate on looking after yourself and don't accept any unneccesary burden.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Gem,
You need to be strong for yourself so you can get better-if you're ill, you CAN'T help anyone!
Your parents are adults and need to take control, as long as you are there trying to 'sort' everything out they are not being responsible.
Do what you need to do for yourself, be selfish and heal.

Awww Gemz, sorry you are having a hard time - as everyone else has said though, do make sure you put yourself first sometimes.
IA, my clubcard vouchers have arrived today so hopefully yours will arrive tomorrow.
Jacs - Chipmunks was okay, it's very definitely for kids (not for big kids, like, say Monsters Inc), but it's cute and the helium harmonies are very cute.
Bunny, sorry your cold is no better hun - get yourself tucked up with a hot water bottle, and hope you feel better soon.
Oooh, and it looks like I'm going back to work - I've almost agreed the hours, just need to find a nursery place for Natasha. Nothing like leaving it till the last minute, eh?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
