Does anyone know where I can find out what the average credit limit is for companies offering credit cards?
Thanks

Usually the minimum credit limit is £250-£500. The lowest offered would be by Capital One, with a minimum £100 limit, but many card companies have higher limits, especially those for the well off like Capital One's Mastercards and Coutts. Amex charge cards carry an essentially infinite credit limit, as they want you to pay the balance off each month in full.
It's generally not really possible to tell an average; it depends on your individual circumstances and internal decisions at the CC companies. Unless you want to do a quick whipround of people you know and see who has what credit limits, you're not really going to get very far. Sorry

Would there be any reports out there at all that indicate an average at all?0 -
Googling "average credit limit" (with the quotation marks) returns a few hits. For example, Vanquis run 90,000 accounts and the average credit limit is £600.
The Office of National Statistics.
Financial institution annual reports.
