Just seen this on HotUkDeals and wondered how it would compare to my Dell inspiron 1501 laptop (AMD Turion64 x 2) Vista basic.

I will only use it for surfing and emails. No gaming.

Looks like a decent basic desktop to me. Obviously they've skimped a bit on some parts, but 200 quid for a core2 duo Dell can't be bad. I'd rather have a cheap Dell than a cheap no-brand.
[Edit: couldn't see what networking etc that dell has, prob have to add wireless]0
