hello everybody - I am new to this forum but have read through briefly and found some of the info very useful, I wonder if you might be able to help me be a better saver rather than in debt.
my story - I currently have 2 cards and 2 loans I am paying them off but spending a lot of money doing this and failing to save. I would like to buy a house in the summer but am worried I will not be able to save properly with these cards and Loans, can anyone help. Please and thanks.
SKY CARD - £6,000 ( this has been a particular problem) - pay about £200
Barclay card - £ 900 pay £50 a month
HSBC Loan - 10,000 - pay- £240 a month
Welcome finance - 1,000 - pay £170 a month
so as you can see I have about £ 660 outgoing, but would much rather I paid less to one lender.
Look forward to hearing from you...
thanks

Welcome to MSE! I have moved your post to it's own thread as I think you might get more help if it isn't hidden in the middle of someone elses thread!

Hi and welcome. Can you post a full SOA(a list of all incoming and outgoings) so we can see if we can save you any money to chuck at those debts.
What about a spending diary as well to see if you are losing any money that way? on the 'odd' bottle from a vending machine/chocolate/bottled water/lunch at work/cigarettes/cd's/dvd's/clothes/odd pint after work? etc.Making my money go further with MSE :j
