I am reading a lot about people working for TNT and other leaflet companies for peanuts why? Start up for yourself do some market research in the companies in your area. The average charge is £35 per 1000 if you put three leaflets together not ones that are in the same business e.g two taxi companies no more than three leaflets anymore than this can be regarded as junk mail. Also try offering £30 for 500-1000 leaflets this could help out small starters. At the end print of a google map highlight were you have been and list the numbers you couldn't deliver to and why. Ask the client for a 50% deposit and at the end the other 50% when you collect your final 50% you can hand them the delivery report.
Just print up some small leaflets 100 to start explaining what you do and deliver them to people you think may use your service the first phone call is the hardest after that it's all go from there.
Just think £35 per 1000 can be done in 6-7 hours depending on the area times that by 3 = £105 for 6-7 hours works better than the peanuts they throw at you.
To add you normally get paid £35 per 1000 households you do regardless if you deliver 1 or 3 leaflets to the house the other £70 is profit for the company!Compare Payday Loans http://www.brassic.net0

A lot of companies prefer their leaflets to be delivered on their own. They reckon one leaflet through the door on its own is less likely to be binned as if 3 were collectively.0

Not a problem if a company wants solo delivery you charge a solo delivery rate. Mine is £65 for 1000 to 5000 and £60 for 5000 to 10000 price is based per one thousand the argument for this is you have to pay your staff minimum wage if eventually you employ people but even if you don't you have to pay yourself a minimum wage. I base it on 8 eight hours a day regardless whether you work 5,6 or 8 hours current minimum wage is £5.73ph which equals £45.84 per day the rest is to cover cost and overheads and this is how you explain it to your clients.Compare Payday Loans http://www.brassic.net0

Yes I do this as a business, the biggest issue is trust. I have just solved that because I have a G1 phone that does real time tracking which my clients can check online. Getting customers can be quite easy remember every company needs to advertise so don’t think your restricted to just doing take away’s we have distributed for estate agents, taxi companies, health clubs, pubs and clubs, restaurants, printing companies, local authorities (i.e. police missing persons, council, fire brigade safety checks) etc. We think that flyers are the best form of advertising and I have been approached by companies we never thought would use this method so don’t be afraid to approach anyone.
But just starting out can be hard just as in any business, You will find people who will try to take the pee but remember you are a business not a charity. I had a carpet shop that wanted me to deliver 5000 leaflets for £75 my usual price would be £175 you have to be prepared to be a bit flexible that is up to you but don't give your services away.
And to add if you are in a city going like the clappers you can get 5000 done in two days- me? I am too slack for my own good and it normally takes me 2 1/2 - 3 days but £175 for 2 1/2 days work not bad. :beer:Compare Payday Loans http://www.brassic.net0
