I heard back from them for directory deliveries and they wanted me to pick them up and then deliver them but it was about 1.5hour out of my area. So declined it without asking anymore!0

Just an update on this....I got my first load of leaflets about a week ago...after putting it off for about a week I finally started....I have to say this is interesting work!
Already I have gotten myself completely lost, and I keep finding myself chuckling to myself when I remember my 'dog incident'. There was this little terrier thing on a window...barking....so I figured Id keep an eye on it while I posted the leaflett, it stayed on the window, fine, i stick the leaflet through the door and this'thing' viciously grabs it from the other side scaring the hell out of me! I was like !!!!!!?! I look back at the window and together with the little terrier is this gnarlling bull terrier! Deary me! It seems like its taking for ever but its not, it is taking me a while to get over the embarrasement factor. But it is certainly keeping me fit! I see another post has emerged about this, looks like people get paid, which is good. Am slightly confused that the £55 mr tnt quoted me has gone down to £34, maybe because they are only little leaflets, but i will be questioning it as onmy invoice it says delivered:1000, with area manager: 495, when I'm sure I have all 1495.0 -
As a printing company owner I employ the services of leaflet distribution companies quite a lot. Most of them have let me down.
All the good realiable leaflet distribtion companies always provide there customers with a detailed check list - outlining which street and houses have been completed. This then allows the customer to go and check for themselves what has been completed.
Failing to impliment this simple procedure can be the difference of being paid or not, or even sued!

just wanted to add a bit about this,
a couple of years ago hubby and me decided to try delivering leaflets . we used to spend about 11 or 12 hours a day 5 days a week just to earn about £400 a week between us.
its great if you can get all terraced roads that take minutes to do but when you get more country type roads with huge driveways it really slows you down.
i would say on average we made a lot less than even minimum wage and then when you factor in petrol costs and car wear and tear, its really not that greattrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0 -
I applied for leaflet dropping with tnt post about 2 weeks ago and i have not heard any thing do you have to keep on trying thanks0
