Sorry not had time to read any threads. I have half a living room floor and all the furniture from the living room is all over the house. The place looks like a bomb has hit it but there's no point doing anything to sort it until the floor is finished. After this weekend we'll only have the kitchen to go!!!

Just had to sew 6 brownies badges on DDs sash as she's going to some 'event' tonight and I was told in no uncertain terms to get them sorted by brown owl no less. Consider myself well and truly told off. I need to pick up 4 brownies at 730...I mustn't forget.

I'm on a course all weekend so probably won't be on much over the weekend. I've also finally started my aromatherapy so that starts on Monday. Hugs to all...need to go and read some more notes for tomorrow. Speak soon. Hugs to all who need them and big waves to everyone else. xx

I really have a thing for Philip Glenister!!!!

As my signature suggests - my heart is true to another!! Still - until Rupert is back on the screen then Philip Glenister is a good alternative!! He is fab is Calendar Girls.

I have Rupert as my desktop at work and one of the teachers came up and said 'I saw the picture of your husband on the computer' How I laughed!

Had a good day - the assembly was a success (one of the Reception children said it was 'cool') AND because I've tried really hard this week - we've got to Friday and the house is the tidiest I can remember it being on a Friday AND the washing and ironing is down to a dull roar rather than threatening to overwhelm us! Thankyou Pigpen and all for the reminders!

Maybe I can stay on the wagon this time round!

    Hi everyone.

No flying done today as I have been out nearly all of it. The wind here has been horrendous. A particularly heavy gust hit the revolving doors at the hospital, they stopped and people were inside. Been to see mum and she was a lot happier today.

JillD Well done on the weight loss.

TMD Happy Birthday. Hope you are having a good one.

    AnWsmum Big hugs to you.

gunsandbanjos I hope they find out what is causing your daughters problems soon.

I have put some washing in and tidied up. Catching up with the soaps.

Still feeling really tired - I've not sat down so much in one day since I was breastfeeding.

Time to start the kids bedtime routine.

then you must just not be bossy enough!!

I am the meanest parent EVER I literally stand over them and every time they stop I throw something else in my binbag.. I have also been known to tip a full toybox on the floor and go through it while they've screamed in my ears.. I am ruthless and determined and I don't give in EVER..

I do have to go through the boys clothes soon though they are both starting to look like urchins as they wear the stuff all the time and it doesn't fit!

Not filled a binbag today.. I might go harrass the middle room.. see if the car seat and the box of duplo manage to kill me this time!

We are always threatening the bin bags too! Do you ever give back the things you sling in the bag or are you not really THAT mean? :rotfl:
