  • Thanks again guys, just had my last one:eek: while watching dancing on ice and sobbed at Steves daughter, poor little thing was devastated he was voted out. Think I need to get my epilator ice pack out of the freezer for my rear end:rotfl:

Pigpen - you must try and tell me whats wot with the bath bombs, some are obvious others we dont have a clue. DS came home from skiing today and decided he needed a soak in the bath so I gave him a big blue and green one and now he's lovely and sparkly and not so impressed:rotfl:

I'm sure he looks beautiful in his twinkles.. I have no idea.. check them out on the website.. it is what I found works best... though.. the pink ones with bits of paper in tend not to have twinkles as well.. and the yellow and beige ones (butterball I think) are not twinkly..

now.. get on with it.. honestly it is like trying to educate chavs in social etiquette

Right.. who is coming to the pub with me??????????

Just had a bad idea of a little comp of who has the oldest pants to throw out - a bit like an IDEA advert chuck out your chinz - flyladies across the land throw your old draws out the window

Dusty, I'll take up your challenge. I will look through my knicker drawer tomorrow evening and attempt to work out the age of the oldest. There are definitely some there from 10 years ago.and are still serviceable and wearable. I refuse to throw them out! There probably are others from 15 years ago/

Can you tell I don't have a man in my life to please any more?

Marvellous Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
Fling open that window and blow those cobwebs out!! Air the room!!! Nothing worse than a bedroom smelling of parps!
    Remove and wash bed linen.
    Level 2
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
[STRIKE]30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk![/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!.. and it is time those knickers you have had for 37 years were binned.. let hem go liberate yourself!!
    [STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...[/STRIKE]
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • 39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • [STRIKE]wipe or dust over the upstairs light fittings.. don't go injuring yourself please you have the rest of the week to work through![/STRIKE]
    • Clean windows in these rooms
    • [STRIKE]Wipe down the skirting in the bedroom and on the landing.[/STRIKE]

Ah good-o the master bedroom ... guess which room I did this evening ;)
Except of course for changing bedlinen, which got done last week, instead I did the spare bed.
I agree with digging through my knicker drawer and rationalising (any excuse for some shopping, LOL).

    Other "To Do's":
    • Dig out car tax reminder and work out when to pay
    • Find cheap car parking for airport for hols
    • Look for cheap annual family travel insurance
    • Buy some bread flour
    • Menu plan for the week
    • Get recycling bins out of the car
    • Clean the Ikea recycling container and shelving
    • Take down the rhs lining for the Snug window and shorten.
No, that's not just for tomorrow, as I'm working, but I've got to get my life back in order! I noticed yesterday that pollen has started to fill the house ..... Spring is springing .....
    GC - March 2024 -
  • I'm in again this week. Have let things fall by the wayside this last week, so will be really good this week. DD is tidying up her room. I bought (and assembled with BF's help) her a wardrobe today, so I'm hoping the floordrobe will disappear. I've not managed to do a GC yet, so that'll be on my list tomorrow.

I've got a few wee samples of various face creams and lotions and potions. Would anyone like them? They are cluttering up my dressing table and they must go!
