Our washer leaked last summer and although mopped it pretty much straight away I noticed if you looked closely laminate lifted at edges. THey sent a company and we got new, just had to pay excess
  • Is it actually worth claiming on laminate? Just replace it yourself. Only 20 quid for a pack?

I tend to agree with this - the impact of claims on home insurance can have vast effects on your premiums, small claims often more so - a big claim is often viewed as a one off, a small claim would be a regular occurance and as such lead to regular payouts.

laminate can be replaced easily - in the same way that a rug can be placed over wine spilages, worth it in the long run
