I Bratz Mp3 Player

HI MY DAUGHTER HAS A BRATZ MP3 PLAYER and i have just downloaded one of her albums onto it but when she tries to play the song it says no authority? i'm a bit of a techno phobe but followed the instructions in the book help please:mad:

  • It is probably because the album file is protected, and requires the download of the license as well.

    Try downloading to the MP3 player an unprotected music file to see if it works.

    Have you puts mp3s on it, or are they itunes files or wma's? You might have a problem if they are not in mp3 format and have digital rights management on them.

    I think that player can play WMA. So you may have put that format on there. If you ripped it in Windows Media Player to WMA it may only allow you to play it on that computer you ripped it on or something similar.

  • windows music player my friends son put the music on for her at first but he's away at uni so i thought i'd have a go at putting high school musical on it for her but your right it's saying protected so not sure what to do at the moment thanks for all the advice very appreciated

    I'm fairly sure the default setting in Windows Media Player is to rip to WMA.

    Go to Tools > Options > Rip Music (tab) and select MP3 in the drop down list in the Format section.

    On the slider bar at the bottom I would select at least 192kbps or 256kbps (2nd and 3rd on the slider).

    Rip the CD again and then transfer it the mp3 player again.
