    Are there any alternatives?

Does anyone where I can buy one cheaper than £20?

    Thanks,

    Matt

There is a clock with a similar logic here:

    http://www.bubblestar.co.uk/frameset.html

    That's £16.95 plus P+P.

I think the Bunny clock is much cuter though! It's now showing up as £21 plus p+p on the link you gave, but it's still available from the Great Little Trading Co for £19.99.

Maybe all kids go through a stage of waking up early.
My boy who is now 2years and 4months, he had a stage of waking up around 5-6am, and its still dark. I used to just say to him that its not time to wake up, and carry him back into bed, and tuck in him, and fingers crossed, so far so good, for me anyway.

My little boy woke up at 5.30am every morning for about 18 months. Nothing we did seemed to help and we were paranoid about him waking his big sister up if we left him to cry. Around Christmas time, he jsut started sleeping a bit longer and he was also old enough to start to understand that early morning was not time to get up (2 yrs 3 months). I think Christopher Green in Toddler Taming says that if you have an early riser, there is not a lot you can do apart from get used to it.

My husband says that when small boy is a teenager, he will take his revenge by going into his bedroom at 5.30 in the morning and crawling all over him.

Try the bunny clock by all means, but I have known children who just reset it, or ignore it.

Remember, all of these phases are just that, phases. They will not always be like this. And I do sympathise with how much of a zombie you feel when your day starts so early.

    Good luck

LOL!!! :rotfl: I've had similar thoughts, I have to admit!

I think you are right about it being a phase, in the majority of cases anyway. Luckily, my little boy seems to be going back to getting up at a more human time of after 7... aah! Fingers cross this will last! :)
