I have just asked a buyer what colours they want. Message received back ""Yellow, white and orange and get the postie to leave them by the back door in case I'm out."??"
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Funnily enough, I had a buyer this weekend who put 'leave by the back door if I am out' in the notes on her Paypal receipt. Does she expect me to write that across the parcel before I post it?!!!0

Don't be so ridiculous.
She wants you to drive to her house and personally deliver it, on a red velvet pillow.0 -
some of the requests i've had from buyers regarding delivery are absolutely ridiculous
"can you wrap it in something tough & durable as my dog may attack it. i expect this to be included in the P+P i paid" (this particular buyer got a refund & i relisted)
"please advise the postie to leave it in the back seat of the yellow car on the driveway, the back left door will be left open" WHAT?helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

To be fair, I've had a few requests like this, and for the sake of typing and taping a small message to the package, it keeps the buyer happy, and if prevents them having to go to the sorting office, or having item nicked from their doorstep, it's hardly an inconvenience.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

LOL at the yellow car request!!.... but I do put a message on the label if a customer asks.
At least they cannot say you did not if there is a problem.0
