Some on this website are intolerant of posts containing bearish news. I have wondered whether someone was putting them up to this. Having seen this article, the answer seems to be yes (or at least partly so).

This sneering attitude towards people without homes has a ring of familiarity.
Right now we are at the top of the strongest property bull run in history. Such trends however always end up correcting themselves. The idea that UK companies can stay competetive with employee accomodation costs of £10-30K is wholly unrealistic. On top of this, UK companies are pulling down their factories for housing schemes and relocating to Poland. This plundering of the productive economy will continue until equilibrium returns. We cannot have a nation where half the population live off BTL and the other half try to compete with the rest of the world.
And don't get me started on the human side of the property bubble. The way young families are being denied decent accomodation is a national disgrace.

Those who declined to answer his questions were described as 'silly' or 'snob-heads' or 'losers who haven't got properties of their own'.

So what is your point exactly?
Apart from the fact you cannot tolerate those who disagree with you.
Perhaps some evil mastermind is putting you up to it.
Heaven forefend someone might be allowed to argue for their own opinion.Been away for a while.0 -
Inside Track are hilarious and definately have a vested interest in talking up the bankrupt "off plan new build city centre flat in chesterfield" investment strategy (not to mention the 'booming' Spanish and american holiday condo property markets!!!)
to use them as an example of a dark force at work within MSE trying to ramp up the whole property market is hilarious.
I mean, using Inside Track salesmen as an example of your typical bull is as about as accurate as using Squat Now or Cgnao as examples of typical bears.
Great bit of journalism by the Guardian there. 100% accurate. Guaranteed.

now there's an idea....
Anyone fancy clubbing together to get Squat Now to an inside track meeting camera and mic'd up?
I'd happily pay for the highest of high tech surveillence equipment just to get to see the result!!!!I am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an IFA, so you need to take my word for it. Me too!
Inside track are having a seminar near me very soon. Just out of pure interest I wanted to go and see it with my own two eyes how they get people to part with their money.....
LOL
Well, not going to bother now, if thats the way they do it. I have been to other seminars flogging all kinds of things and they have "plants" in the room that nood and act as if they are sold. Well it aint working with this one. LOL
Another good read here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2008/feb/17/property.moneyinvestments20 -
Using Inside Track in support of any position, be it bearish or bullish is somewhat pointless.
HPC mafia on this MSE website certainly have a voice. However, it is correct that they do not "own" the property forum. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
