I have just bought a new PC from Dell, I wanted to be able to save family films from the camcorder straight to DVD rather than video as I do now. is any one aware of winxp suddenly taking a dislike to a firewire card?
i had one installed, managed to copy from camera once..... was a little flaky when i tried to edit it, now the pc doesnt recognise the firewire card, managed to exchange the card for a replacement, but still istn recognised
