Play.com have started doing music downloads. They are not only cheaper than iTunes but all the downloads are DRM (Digital Rights Management) Free meaning they can be used on all brands of MP3 Players including iPods or burned to CD.
The prices of tracks start from 65p and there is a wide range of tracks available.

not bad at all if they are above 192k.
Shame I don't do commercial tunes. Play.com should get in with the underground dance stuff hehe, I'd be there in a flash.0
