Installing stone fireplace / surround

We have a new stone fire surround set ('Estoril' from Homebase) but it does not have any instructions with it, and apparently no fixings. Is this to be expected? I just thought it would have some screw holes to fix to wall. Each part is very heavy, but just a bit nervous - will it hold its own weight ok?
Any comments from anyone who has something similar? Thanks.
