I got a call about my card having been used for something suspect looking, no idea how my card details got out there, can only assume something dodgy on work PC which I often shop online with .
They asked if I would deal with the police on it, what exactly does that entail? Just signing something to say it wasn't me guv, honest?

I had my card used too. Very straightforward, you just have to give your details and the cards so they can issue you with a crime number. They then told me that as I was going to be reinburst by the card company they wouldn't be following it up. Must happen all the time for them. I think the important thing is getting it recorded as a crime and getting the number as then your company can start to recoup its losses as well. Found the process to be fairly straightforward once the card company and police had satisfied themselves there was no fraud involved.0
