Barclaycard... still waiting in the queue

Just to let everyone know that I've now been on hold for over 15 minutes waiting to pay off my Barclaycard. They must know what's coming and are trying to make me pay for a lengthy call.
Silly people- nobody rings up to make a payment on one of their 0870 numbers
- thank Tmobile (not something said very often) for Freetime 750 tariff.

I don't know what a "Freetime 750" tariff is, but I'm willing to bet that somebody is still paying Barclaycard their 4p a minute for your call - although I concede it may not be you!knuckledragger wrote:Just to let everyone know that I've now been on hold for over 15 minutes waiting to pay off my Barclaycard. It's win/win really - you don't pay, and they still get paid! (and you still get to hang on for 15 minutes!!!!!)0 -
As far as I know, T-Mobile dont include 0870 or 0845 numbers within their free minutes - well, not on my tariff anyway. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

Just in case they dont, why not go to https://www.saynoto0870.com, and get the freephone number for Barclaycard there, and dial from your landline. There are also freephone numbers listed there for many other banks and financial institutions. It really is time we all said no to 0870. And 0845 for that matter !:beer:0

And even 'free' minutes in fact are not free... Knuckledragger, how much is your monthly rent? If you cannot use all your 750 minutes - don't pay for them!balsingh wrote:As far as I know, T-Mobile dont include 0870 or 0845 numbers within their free minutes - well, not on my tariff anyway.0 -
knuckledragger, why don't you use the toll free number instead 08009177277.I know nothing0

Even better, why not pay your bill by direct debit or electronic banking, so some poor person isn't sat like a battery hen taking 1000's of calls and being paid minimum wage doing a job which can be totally automated.Smile
, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.0 -
grumbler,
I'm stuck with the contract until the end of the year. Therefore I try to use it as close to the 750 mins per month as possible. I called Barclaycard up on their 01604 230230 number not the 0870!
empfun,
the card is now cleared so that should be the last call I ever make to them.
Rafter,
sometimes any job is better than no job at all....and then the window licker said to me...0
