To be honest, cheap listing days now aren't all that much off what you pay normally. I guess if you're listing a lot of stuff then you might save a couple of quid, but I don't bother waiting around for them any more.0

It's unlikely we'll see many more 10p days in the future, one the new insertion fees come into play. Expect to see things like free gallery, or free insertion for items with free postage.
The US recently held a $1 listing for motors, reduced from $40, but the Final Value Fee was upped from $50 to $109 flat rate. http://pages.motors.ebay.com/promo/feb109promo/
