Time for a petrol boycott?

Whilst reading the notice board of our Union i noticed a letter about the best way to do a petrol boycott & if word got around then people power would end up knocking at least a few pence off a litre of petrol. If everyone didn't buy petrol for a day the boycott wouldn't really work as we'd all still have to fill up over the next day or so. The idea that's been suggested is a great one. If everyone boycotted two major petrol companies they would eventually have to drop their prices. If they dropped their prices then others would have to follow sooner or later. The two companies being suggested to boycott are the one that rhymes with BT & the one with two S's;) ! I'm probably a bit slow on the uptake regarding this but i haven't read it anywhere in the papers. It's time we all took a stand & stopped these companies & our Government ripping us off in my opinion!

Well that's 2 of us for starters! We can all make a difference if we really want to. Not going to go into politics but why do we put up with being ripped off when we can all do something about it.Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028. Love the idea and will happily join in myself.
Problem is that lots of people have cards with certain garages that mean they couldn't boycott the big boys. Think sometimes thats the only reason they keep going cos why else would you pay more there than the local supermarket

Don't you think you having a go at the wrong people ? Its due to go up another 2p per ltr in April nothing to do with the companies your thinking of boycotting just more tax for our glorious government"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

It's the Government ripping us all off with the exceptionally high tax we have to pay on petrol, it's not so much the oil companies fleecing us. So how do we boycott the Government?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
