Well 2 shocks from GSF are £35 each, so you've not really been charged a lot for changing them. A pair of discs is £73, set of pads is £30, so if all 4 discs and pads were changed = £206 plus labour & VAT = £290 which isn't bad at all for 2 hours. So the price of repairs is reasonable.
However, if they passed the vehicle with a knackered shock then they should be reported. I think you'd need to prove that the shock was knackered at the time of the MOT.0 -

How would i do this though. it is my word against theirs. i only have the fact that i know it wasn't broke before they had it.A child smiles 500 times a day, compared to an adult over 25 smiling 15 times a day.
