Evening all, well i've had a lovely dfw day out with some girly friends today, so not much accomplished, but we did have a cheap day out.
-I used my young persons rail card to get a cheap train ticket to where we were going
-We looked around the shop but i didn't buy anything, nothing there i wanted or needed. (with exception to some fudge!)
-We went to some free places/art galleries and walks so very little spending.
All in all a great cheap day out and shows you don't need to have lots of money to have a great day out.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Today I have:
- done piggyclicks/survey checks
- eaten lunch and dinner from leftovers/storecupboard/fridge/freezer so a “free food” day
- done this week’s food shopping using mostly vouchers, so very little cash outlay :T
- Ordered a mother’s day gift for MIL from Marks & Spencer website (using a £15 complimentary voucher they gave me when they messed up a previous order before Christmas, which made it very good value!

Got some contents insurance for -£11. This is slightly better than last year when I got it for -£6..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Today I have managed a few dfw things...
1. Bought 2 magazine deals - both £1 for the first three issues. This will save me around £12 a month as I normally spend £3 a week on magazines, sometimes more. I must remember to cancel after 3 months though - popping that in my diary now so I don't forget.
2. Bought a much needed new hand bag with Christmas vouchers - that saved me £35 of my own money
3. Daily clicks0 -
Having spent a flippin fortune on my credit card over the years, and finally getting to the point where I will have it paid off in a year, I looked at the "points"I have accrued and I have earned enough for £50 coment voucher and £15 gardening voucher! I am going to use that to buy a slow cooker and to add to our "doing pretty well anyway" veg patch at the top of the garden.
I have also spent the day preparing meals for the freezer, cos trying to use up all our stockpiled food before I set foot in a supermarket again. Paying off £7k off our debts this year, so every little thing I can do helps I swear!:A0 -
I hope everyone had a lovely day!splishsplash wrote: »Today I have:- [strike]try to get a load of washing dry (it's a little cloudy, but looks like it could clear)[/strike] Yes

- track down the vet if at all possible to ask re stopping dog's meds No - actually meant to call over about four times today, never got there!
- [strike]become a screaming virago regarding lights left on, chargers left on and plugs left on
[/strike] Yes - apparently my impression is very amusing:rolleyes: Must improve technique... - check back through this week's posts and see what else I've left undone, and fix them! No - will do it tomorrow.
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
