Yes, been to a premiere in Leicester Square - when I went I was sat in the competition winners area so you're not sat with the celebs. I went straight from work so wasn't massively dressed up, but you do go down the red carpet and you do get snapped by the paps - think they do it just in case you're some minor celeb they've not heard of and they don't want to miss the opportunity for a pic!

Congratulations - it's a really fun experience, definitely let your wife know she will probably get snapped soI would recommend dressing up as if you were going out for a nice dinner with friends - not super fancy, but smart enough that you don't feel scruffy walking up the red carpet!
